π Today’s Scripture
1 Corinthians 15:58 (KJV)
“Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord.”
Notice the words:
Steadfast.
Unmoveable.
Always abounding.
God is teaching us something powerful: don’t merely begin wellβcontinue well.

Many people dream of achieving great things, but few are willing to remain faithful in the small things every day.
Success is rarely built on one extraordinary effort. More often, it is the result of doing the right things consistently over time.
Jesus taught that those who are faithful in little will also be faithful in much. God values consistency because it reflects a dependable heart.
Reading your Bible once is good.
Praying occasionally is good.
Showing kindness once in a while is good.
But lives are transformed when these become daily habits.
Small acts of faithfulness produce lasting results.
π± Stay Faithful
Don’t become discouraged because progress seems slow.
Seeds do not become trees overnight.
Every day you choose to obey God, forgive others, pray faithfully and live according to His Word, you are growingβeven when you cannot immediately see it.
Remain steadfast.
Remain faithful.
Remain available.
God never wastes consistent obedience.
This principle reaches beyond our spiritual disciplines.
A student who studies consistently builds knowledge.
A business owner who serves customers consistently builds trust.
A writer who writes consistently eventually produces pages.
A person who saves consistently builds resources.
A believer who walks with God consistently develops spiritual maturity.
We often overestimate what we can accomplish in one day and underestimate what faithful action repeated for months and years can produce.
Don’t despise today’s small step.
Take it again tomorrow.

Make a fresh commitment today and practise it without excuse.
Don’t try to change twenty things at once.

Water dripping continuously on a rock can eventually wear into itβnot because each individual drop carries extraordinary force, but because the action continues.
That is the power of persistence.
Small, consistent actions can accomplish what occasional bursts of effort cannot.
Your progress may appear small today.
Keep going.
π 13 August 1961 β The Berlin Wall
On 13 August 1961, construction of the Berlin Wall began, dividing families and communities for years before the wall eventually came down in 1989.
The devotional draws a simple lesson from this history: walls built by fear and division may stand for a season, but they do not last forever. God’s truth, love and faithfulness point us towards freedom and hope.
