🌅LEAVING YESTERDAY BEHIND — FIRESTREAMS DAILY DEVOTIONAL (DAY 5)

MY MONTH OF DIVINE ADVANCEMENT! — Arise, Move and Possess!

Start your day with God. End your day with God. Grow every day.

🌅 MORNING ENCOUNTER

TODAY'S SCRIPTURE

Isaiah 43:18–19 (KJV)

“Remember ye not the former things, neither consider the things of old.

Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert.”

YOUR PAST MUST NOT BECOME YOUR PRISON!

One of the greatest enemies of advancement is an unhealthy attachment to yesterday. Some people are held back by painful memories, failed attempts, broken relationships and opportunities they believe they can never recover.

Others are so occupied with previous achievements that they have stopped preparing for what lies ahead.

God's instruction in Isaiah 43:18–19 was a call to recognise His ability to do something new. Israel was not to allow former experiences to prevent them from seeing what God was beginning to do.

This does not mean you should forget every lesson from your past. It means you must refuse to allow yesterday's experiences to control today's obedience.

Learn from your mistakes, but do not live inside them.

Appreciate your victories, but do not become satisfied with past achievements. Receive God's grace and keep moving.

You cannot change yesterday, but you can make wise decisions today.

Perhaps you failed in business. Perhaps a relationship ended painfully. Perhaps you made decisions you now regret. Perhaps people disappointed you when you needed them most.

Hear this clearly: your past is a chapter of your story, not the conclusion of your destiny!

God is still able to make a way in your wilderness. He can bring rivers into your desert. He can restore your confidence, renew your vision and empower you to take another step.

Do not spend this November rehearsing yesterday's disappointments. Let this month become a season of renewed vision, fresh commitment and courageous action.

Your future is too important to be sacrificed on the altar of yesterday's pain!

🔥 FIRESTREAMS INSIGHT

Your past may contain important lessons, but it does not have to control the direction of your future.

  4. What burden do I need to surrender to God before tomorrow?
