RHAPSODY OF REALITIES FOR WEDNESDAY 3RD NOVEMBER 2021 – VICTORY IN HIS NAME

RHAPSODY OF REALITIES FOR TODAY.

Rhapsody of Realities daily devotional by Pastor Chris Oyakhilome of the Love World Ministry Inc. for today is here. Digest the word of the lord and pray believing in his promise.

TOPIC:Β Victory In His Name”

Today’s  Scripture: Revelation 2:7

…To him that overcometh will I give to eat of the tree of life, which is in the midst of the paradise of God

In the verse above, like several other portions of the Scriptures, we find the Lord constantly prompting us to overcome. In a reiterative pattern, He announced in Revelation 2:11, β€œβ€¦He that overcometh shall not be hurt of the second death.” This is Jesus talking, and in Revelation 3:12, He repeated, β€œHim that overcometh will I make a pillar in the temple of my God….” Jesus already overcame the world and when He did, we were in Him. His victory was for us. In John 16:33, He said, β€œβ€¦be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.” In Him, we defeated Satan and all the
demons of hell, but we’re required to maintain our victory; that’s our role. That’s the fight of faith.

The Lord knows that the adversary would try to fight us with the systems of this world. But He charged us to resist him, steadfast in the faith. This is what the fight of faith is about and He didn’t leave us without the weapon for the fight. When David confronted Goliath, he said, β€œβ€¦Thou comest to me with a sword, and with a spear, and with a shield: but I come to thee in the name of the LORD of hosts…” (1 Samuel 17:45). That was his weapon: The Name of the LORD of hosts! With that Name, he overcame the Philistines.

Hallelujah! That’s our weapon today. Jesus said, β€œβ€¦In my name shall they cast out devils…” (Mark 16:17). That means, in His Name, you’ll rule over, control, and dispel demons. Then He said we should use His Name in all circumstances: β€œAnd whatsoever ye do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus…” (Colossians 3:17). That’s the victory! As you go to your office, school, place of work or business today, go in the Name of Jesus. That means no matter what’s waiting for you there, you already have the victory; you’ll overpower it in the Name of Jesus!

Others may be complaining about their dwindling business fortunes, but your testimony is different. Why? You’re running your businesses in the Name of Jesus. The Bible says, β€œFor whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world…” (1 John 5:4). You’ve overcome the world with its hatred, death, deception, falsehood and falsities, economies and economicsβ€”in His Name. Glory to God!

CONFESSION

I’m born of God; therefore, I’ve overcome the world and its hatred, unbelief, wickedness, deceptions, economies and economics, death, falsehood and falsities. I’m victorious forever in the Name of Jesus!
Hallelujah!

RHAPSODY OF REALITIES FOR TUESDAY 2ND NOVEMBER 2021 – IN CHRISTβ€”EVERYTHING IS ALIVE

RHAPSODY OF REALITIES FOR TODAY.

Rhapsody of Realities daily devotional by Pastor Chris Oyakhilome of the Love World Ministry Inc. for today is here. Digest the word of the lord and pray believing in his promise.

TOPIC: In Christβ€”everything Is Alive

Today’s  Scripture: Romans 8:19

For the earnest expectation of the creature waiteth for the manifestation of the sons of God

Everything in man’s world is in captivity (Romans 8:20), but in God’s world, things are different. For example, Jesus took five loaves of bread and two fishes, talked to them and they multiplied, such that about five thousand men (women and the children not counted) were fed with many baskets of leftovers (Matthew 14:17–20).

In Mark 3:1-5, Jesus looked at the man who had a withered arm and said to him, β€œHold out your hand.” When the man held it out, his hand was completely restored. He talked to lame legs and they were revived. He talked to a man who had no legs the legs grew out.

When He got to the entrance of the sepulcher where Lazarus was buried, He uttered a simple prayer of thanks to the Father, and then cried out with a loud voice, β€œLazarus, come forth.” Lazarus, having been dead and buried for four days, came out of the grave alive (John 11:41-44).

He also raised the daughter of Jairus back to life. He took the dead girl by the hand and said, β€œGet up!” And she came back to life (Luke 8:54). How about the son of a widow who lived in the city of Nain? He was being borne by the undertakers to the place of internment. Seeing the widow in distress, Jesus walked over, touched the casket and said, β€œYoung man, I say unto thee, Arise.” The hitherto dead young man sat up and Jesus presented him to his mother (Luke 7:11-15). There is a liberty in Christ, and He demonstrated that liberty of the Spirit that He brought to us. In Christ, there’s no such thing as β€œnon-living”; there’re no such things as waste, vanity and death.

The entire creation is groaning in pain, waiting to be liberated into the glorious liberty of the sons of God. Now that you’ve arrived on the scene, set the creation free; liberate them. Speak blessings to everything around you that’s β€œdead” and bring deliverance to every creature in your world. In Christ, take them out of bondage and corruption, into the glorious liberty of the sons of God.

CONFESSION

I release words of prosperity, health, blessings and life to every creature in my world, taking them out of bondage and corruption, into the glorious liberty of the sons of God. Everything in and around me is always new, excellent, perfect and full of beauty, because life is working in and through me. The supernatural is an everyday occurrence, because I manifest eternal life. Hallelujah!

SEEDS OF DESTINY FOR WEDNESDAY 3RD NOVEMBER 2021 – THE ACCEPTABLE SERVICE TO GOD

SEEDS OF DESTINY FOR TODAY

Seeds of Destiny devotional by Dr. Pst Paul Enencheof the Dunamis Gospel Centre for today is here. Enjoy this refreshing, instructive, soul-lifting and life-changing content.

TOPIC: The Acceptable Service To God

Serving God in depression is not only a waste of service but also an attraction of problems.

SCRIPTURE: Deuteronomy 28:47-48.

Because thou servedst not the Lord thy God with joyfulness, and with gladness of heart, for the abundance of all things; Therefore shalt thou serve thine enemies which the Lord shall send against thee, in hunger, and in thirst, and in nakedness, and in want of all things: and he shall put a yoke of iron upon thy neck, until he have destroyed thee.

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY:Β Serving God in depression is not only a waste of service but also an attraction of problems.

The Scripture makes it clear that we are created by God for His pleasure (Revelation 4:11), and we are created to show forth His praise.

Isaiah 43:21 says, This people have I formed for myself; they shall shew forth my praise. Now, service is one way to show forth the praise of God. As believers, we have been created and redeemed by God to serve Him.

How then do we serve God? What is the acceptable form of service to God?

1. Service to God must be done joyfully.

Service to God must be done joyfully to be acceptable by God.

Our anchor Scripture, Deuteronomy 28:47-48, makes it clear that if we don’t serve God with the whole of our heart, we will serve our enemies. And these enemies are hunger, thirst, nakedness, and bondage. God forbid! Serving God in depression is not only a waste of service but also an attraction of problems. To serve in depression is both to waste the service and attract problems to your life.

So, it is better not to serve at all than to be serving God in sadness.

2. Service to God must be done fervently and passionately.

Romans 12:11 says, Not slothful in business, fervent in spirit serving the Lord.  Serve God with fire. Serve God with enthusiasm, optimism, and positivism. Let people catch fire when they come near you. Sing with fire. Give counsel with fire. Usher people in church with fire. Pray with fire.  My counsel is, refuse to be a lukewarm Christian. The approved frequency for Kingdom service is the frequency of fire.

Remember this:Β Serving God in depression is not only a waste of service but also an attraction of problems.

ASSIGNMENTS:

1. Make up your mind to serve God joyfully. Refuse to serve God in depression.

2. Be fervent in spirit in anything you do for God.

PRAYER: Thank You Lord for showing me the acceptable way of serving You. I receive the grace to serve You joyfully and passionately, Lord in Jesus’ Name.

QUOTE: God spares those who serve Him. He spares them from calamity. Culled from β€œ15 KINGDOM STRATEGIES FOR SURVIVAL” by Dr Paul Enenche.

DAILY READING: John 16-18

REFLECTION:

God is the Consuming Fire. To walk with God, you must function at the frequency of fire because two cannot walk together except they be agreed.

PROPHETIC DECLARATION/WORD:

Your service in the Kingdom shall cause God to spare you from the traps and agenda of the enemy in this season in Jesus’ Name.

SEEDS OF DESTINY FOR TUESDAY 2ND NOVEMBER 2021 – THE TRUTH THAT MAKES FREE

SEEDS OF DESTINY FOR TODAY

Seeds of Destiny devotional by Dr. Pst Paul Enencheof the Dunamis Gospel Centre for today is here. Enjoy this refreshing, instructive, soul-lifting and life-changing content.

TOPIC: THE TRUTH THAT MAKES FREE

It is not head knowledge of God’s Word that changes life; it is the experiential knowledge of the Word of God that changes life.

Scripture: John 8:32

And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.

Thought for The Day:Β It is not head knowledge of God’s Word that changes life; it is the experiential knowledge of the Word of God that changes life.

The Word of God is designed to change your life and that of your generation. The Bible is not meant to be a book for decoration. It is a Book that is meant to cause total transformation of life and destiny.

However, many people carry the Bible without being positively affected by it.

The question is: why is it that the Word of God has not produced much result in the lives of many people?

The answer is in John 8:32 which says,

And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.

You see, some people misquote this Scripture by saying, β€œThe truth shall set you free.” No. That is not what the Bible says.

The Bible says, β€œYou shall know the truth and the truth that you know shall make you free.” Please take note of the word β€œKnow”. The truth may not make you free if you don’t know it. It is the truth you know that makes you free. It is the truth that you have interacted with or experienced that makes you free.

Beloved, it is not head knowledge of the Word of God that changes life. It is the experiential knowledge of the Word of God that changes life. It is the truth that you have encountered or experienced that makes you free.

There are people who quote a particular Scripture in the face of turbulent situations and get the needed Divine intervention. But others may quote the same Scripture in the same situation and not see the same result. This is because the latter may not have known or interacted with the truth of the Word.

Beloved, determine to press for the revelation of the Word to experience a total transformation of your life.

Remember this: It is not the head knowledge of God’s Word that changes life. It is the experiential knowledge of the Word of God that changes life.

ASSIGNMENTS:

1. Refuse to have just a head knowledge of the Scripture.

2. Press for the revelation of the Word for the transformation of your life by the help of the Holy Spirit.

PRAYER: Lord, I ask for the revelation of Your Word. Open my eyes to behold wondrous things out of Your Word, Lord, in Jesus’ Name.

FOR FURTHER UNDERSTANDING, GET THIS MESSAGE: ACCESSING AND PROFITING FROM THE WORD (PART 2)

QUOTE: The truth of the Word is the shield of man. Culled from β€œ15 KINGDOM STRATEGIES FOR SURVIVAL” by Dr Paul Enenche.

DAILY READING: John 13-15

REFLECTION: The teacher is only ready when the student is ready. The Teacher, the Holy Spirit is ready to uncover depths in the Word. The question is, are you ready?

PROPHETIC DECLARATION/WORD: The Lord cause you to see what you haven’t seen out of the Word in this season in Jesus Name.

MFM DAILY DEVOTIONAL FOR SUNDAY 31ST OCTOBER 2021 – WORLDLY PLEASURE AND PRESSURE

MOUNTAIN TOP LIFE DAILY DEVOTIONAL FOR TODAY

Mountain Top Life daily devotional by Dr. Pst D.K Olukoya of the Mountain of Fire Ministry for today is here. Digest the word of the lord and pray believing.

TOPIC:Β WORLDLY PLEASURE AND PRESSURE

BIBLE IN ONE YEAR:  Matthew 23, Luke 20-21

FIRE SCRIPTURE: 1John 2:15

Memory verse: 1John 2:15

β€œDo not love the world or the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him.”

Motivational Quote: Christians must live in the world but not let the world live in them.

Prophetic Word:Β Β Grace to obey and comply with God’s law and precepts is released to you, in the name of Jesus.

The Bible tells us not to love the world (I John 2:15). Here, β€œworld” means the world system, the value system of undegenerated humansβ€”the attitudes, desires, loves, cares, and priorities of sinful flesh. The world is a system controlled by satan, who operates through cultures that have little regard for God.

Christians must live in their culture, but they dare not take their lead from it. The world system in which we live is the enemy’s territory. It is not neutral. Worldliness is anything that makes sin look attractive and righteousness look silly. We are worldly whenever we live and love and choose on the same basis as people who don’t love God.

A Christian striving for power in a church or exploding at his wife at home can be as worldly as a person guzzling drinks at a bar. We are in a season where many people exist just for fleshly pleasure; the flesh has become the god of many people. The devil has given many people abundance of flesh-satisfying agenda.

We see the homosexuals, lesbians and people spending hours on internet games, video games, Facebook, twitter, YouTube etc. Most young ladies are prostituting not necessarily because they love living as prostitutes but because they want to look β€˜beautiful’ like others – wear flashy and expensive dresses and gold jewelleries, drive the latest cars, and move about with all forms of vanities.

In many places, the New Testament regards the life of a Christian as a life lived in tension. On the one hand, all true believers have had their lives renewed by the Holy Spirit. We saw how John speaks of this reality by reminding us that all Christians know God, have had their sins forgiven, and have overcome the evil one (1 John 2:12–14).

Though this new life gives us the ability to resist sin, the tension of the Christian life resides in the fact that the presence of sin has not yet been eliminated completely. We have the ability to resist temptation, but at the same time we will not do so perfectly. God has granted us a role to play in our perseverance and so we need to be warned against falling into sin.

It is important to note that when John speaks of the world here, he is not referring to nature or to human beings. Rather, he is speaking of the world system that sets itself up in opposition to the things of God. Note that the world in today’s devotional should be understood as everything connected with this present life, apart from the kingdom of God and the hope of eternal life.
