What Are You Looking At?
Life is full of distractions.
Problems demand your attention. Negative reports compete for space in your mind. Delays, disappointments and uncertainty can cause you to focus so intensely on what is happening around you that you lose sight of Christ.
But Scripture gives us a powerful instruction:
Look unto Jesus.
What you focus on matters. Your focus can influence your thoughts, emotions, decisions and response to difficult situations.
Do Not Magnify the Storm Above the Saviour
When Peter stepped out of the boat, he walked on the water towards Jesus. But when his attention shifted to the wind and the waves, fear began to take over.
The storm was real.
The waves were real.
But Jesus was also there.
Your challenges may be real, but they must never become bigger in your heart than the God who is with you.
Fixing your eyes on Jesus does not mean denying your problems. It means refusing to allow your problems to become the centre of your life.
Faith grows when Christ becomes greater in your focus than the storm around you.
Jesus Is the Author and Finisher
You do not have to figure out the entire journey today.
Jesus is the Author and Finisher of your faith.
When you do not understand the road ahead, look unto Him.
When fear tries to rise, look unto Him.
When distractions pull your attention in different directions, look unto Him.
The storm may surround you, but Jesus must remain at the centre of your focus.

Father, help me to fix my eyes on Jesus. Deliver me from every distraction that weakens my faith and every fear that tries to control my thoughts. Fear Is a Terrible Master
Fear has stopped many dreams before they ever began.
It asks, βWhat if I fail?β
But faith asks, βWhat if God is with me?β
Fear can blind us to God’s promises and magnify the problems standing before us. When David faced Goliath, others saw an unbeatable giant, but David saw a God greater than the giant.
Your greatest victory begins when your faith becomes bigger than your fear.
Focus on God’s Presence
Fear grows when we focus only on the problem.
Faith grows when we focus on God.
Whatever is troubling your heart today, remember that God is bigger than your fears, stronger than your enemies and greater than every obstacle before you.
Choose faith. Choose courage. Choose to trust God.

Contentment Is a Choice
We live in a world that constantly tells us we need more.
A bigger house. A newer car. A better job. More money. More recognition.
While there is nothing wrong with working hard and pursuing excellence, our joy should never depend on what we possess.
The Apostle Paul learned to be content in every circumstance. Whether he had plenty or very little, his peace came from knowing Christ rather than from his possessions.
Contentment does not mean a lack of ambition. It means refusing to allow material things to determine your happiness.
Count Your Blessings
Comparison is one of the quickest ways to lose your joy.
Someone will always have more than you.
Instead of focusing on what you lack, thank God for what you already have.
A grateful heart sees blessings where a complaining heart sees problems. The more thankful you become, the more joyful your life becomes.
True riches are found in a heart that trusts God and appreciates His daily goodness.

It is easy to think that our time, money, talents, possessions and opportunities belong entirely to us.

Have you ever prayed about something for so long that you began to wonder:
βLord, when will it be my turn?β
You have prayed.
You have believed.
You have remained faithful.
Yet the answer seems slow in coming.
Someone else receives the opportunity you have been waiting for. Someone else’s testimony sounds exactly like the prayer you have been praying.
And suddenly, waiting becomes difficult.
But there is something you must remember:
God’s silence does not mean God’s absence, and waiting does not mean you have been forgotten.
π Today’s Scripture
Ecclesiastes 3:1 (KJV)
“To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven.”
There is a season.
There is a time.
There is a purpose.
Your responsibility is not to force tomorrow into today.
Your responsibility is to remain faithful to God in today’s season.
π God’s Clock Never Runs Late
Waiting is one of life’s greatest challenges.
We pray and expect immediate answers. We sow seeds and hope for instant harvests. Yet God often works according to His timetable rather than ours.
Abraham waited years for Isaac.
Joseph waited years before becoming governor of Egypt.
David was anointed king long before he wore the crown.
Their waiting was not wasted. During those seasons, God was preparing them for what lay ahead.
When God delays, He is not denying. He is developing.
Trust His timing, even when you do not understand it.
Sometimes we become so focused on when God will answer that we overlook what God is doing in us while we wait.
Perhaps He is developing your character.
Perhaps He is increasing your capacity.
Perhaps He is arranging circumstances you cannot see.
Perhaps He is preparing people you have not yet met.
Perhaps He is teaching you something you will need when the answer finally arrives.
Don’t waste your waiting season by spending it entirely in frustration.
π± Wait with Faith, Not Frustration
Waiting does not mean doing nothing.
It means remaining faithful while God is working behind the scenes.
Keep praying.
Keep serving.
Keep believing.
Keep growing.
When God’s appointed time arrives, no one can stop what He has prepared for you.
His timing is always wiser than ours because He sees the end from the beginning.
There is a difference between waiting and wasting.
Waiting says, βGod has not answered yet, but I will remain faithful.β
Wasting says, βUntil God answers this prayer, I will stop growing.β
Don’t put your entire life on hold because one prayer has not yet been answered.
Serve God now.
Develop yourself now.
Love your family now.
Improve your skills now.
Be faithful with today’s opportunities now.
While you are waiting for God to change your situation, allow Him to keep changing you.
