What are your words producing?

Words may leave your mouth in seconds, but their effects can remain much longer. They can encourage or discourage, heal or hurt, build confidence or create fear.

The Bible says:

“Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof.”
— Proverbs 18:21 (KJV)

🌱 WHAT ARE YOUR WORDS PRODUCING?

Your words are not empty.

A sentence can encourage someone to try again. Another can make them give up. A careless statement can damage trust, while a thoughtful conversation can repair it.

That is why Scripture takes our words seriously.

Before you criticise, consider whether your words will help.

Before you react, consider whether silence is wiser.

Before you speak negatively about yourself, remember that God has not called you to continually agree with defeat.

Speak truth.
Speak encouragement.
Speak with grace.

Let your words become seeds that produce life.

This does not mean pretending problems do not exist. It means learning to speak about problems without allowing those problems to control your language.

Before you speak today, ask:

Is it true?
Is it necessary?
Is it helpful?

You may discover that becoming more fruitful begins with becoming more intentional about what comes out of your mouth.

On 28 September 1928, Scottish scientist Alexander Fleming noticed that mould in one of his laboratory dishes had stopped the growth of surrounding bacteria. His observation led to the discovery of penicillin, opening the way for the antibiotic age and transforming modern medicine.
