🔥 Theme: Understanding How God Gives Wisdom for Daily Decisions

📜 Scripture Focus:
“If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.”
— James 1:5 (KJV)

🔍 Let’s Study This Together

This verse speaks directly to a common need:
knowing what to do.

James does not say, “If any of you lack information…”
He says, “If any of you lack wisdom…”

That distinction is important.

Information tells you what is available
Wisdom tells you what is right

So God is not just offering facts—He is offering discernment.

Then the instruction is clear: “let him ask of God…”
This means wisdom is not something you struggle to figure out alone—it is something you can receive.

And notice how God gives:

“liberally” — generously, without holding back
“and upbraideth not” — without criticising you for asking

God is not reluctant to guide you.
He is willing and ready to give clarity.

📜 Looking at Scripture in Context

Solomon (1 Kings 3:9–12 KJV):
“Give therefore thy servant an understanding heart…”
Solomon asked for wisdom, and God not only gave it—but gave it abundantly.
Daniel (Daniel 2:21 KJV):
“He giveth wisdom unto the wise, and knowledge to them that know understanding.”
Daniel recognised that true wisdom comes from God.

• You are not expected to navigate life without guidance
• Wisdom is available through prayer
• God gives direction without condemnation
