📜 Scripture Focus:
“If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.”
— James 1:5 (KJV)

🔍 Let’s Study This Together

This verse speaks directly to a common need:
knowing what to do.

James does not say, “If any of you lack information…”
He says, “If any of you lack wisdom…”

That distinction is important.

• Information tells you what is available
• Wisdom tells you what is right

So God is not just offering facts—He is offering discernment.

Then the instruction is clear: “let him ask of God…”
This means wisdom is not something you struggle to figure out alone—it is something you can receive.

And notice how God gives:

• “liberally” — generously, without holding back
• “and upbraideth not” — without criticising you for asking

God is not reluctant to guide you.
He is willing and ready to give clarity.

📜 Looking at Scripture in Context

• Solomon (1 Kings 3:9–12 KJV):
  “Give therefore thy servant an understanding heart…”
  Solomon asked for wisdom, and God not only gave it—but gave it abundantly.
• Daniel (Daniel 2:21 KJV):
  “He giveth wisdom unto the wise, and knowledge to them that know understanding.”
  Daniel recognised that true wisdom comes from God.
