📖 Key Scripture: Genesis 12:2 (KJV)
“And I will make of thee a great nation, and I will bless thee, and make thy name great; and thou shalt be a blessing:”
God does not bless us merely for us to enjoy His goodness alone. He blesses us so that our lives can become channels through which others are encouraged, strengthened and helped.
To receive a blessing is wonderful, but there is another dimension: to become a blessing.
God can use your words to lift someone. He can use your resources to meet a need. He can use your gifts, knowledge and experiences to open a door for another person. Sometimes, what you carry may be the answer to someone else’s prayer.
Ask yourself today: Who can be strengthened because I am here? Who can experience encouragement through what God has placed in me?
Let the blessing of God upon your life go beyond you. Do not hold back the kindness, encouragement or help that can make a difference in someone else’s day.
Your words can become a source of encouragement. Your resources can become an answer to a need. Your time can become a gift. Even a simple act of kindness can allow someone to experience the love of God through your life.
You may not have everything, but you have something. Ask God to show you how to use what is in your hands to become a blessing to someone today.

Father, thank You for every blessing You have placed in my life. Make me a channel of Your love, kindness and goodness. Let my life bring help, hope and encouragement to others. Show me how to become an instrument of blessing, in the mighty name of Jesus. Amen.
