What if the season you call β€œwaiting” is actually the season God is using to prepare you for what is next?

πŸ“– TODAY’S SCRIPTURE

β€œEven the youths shall faint and be weary, and the young men shall utterly fall:
But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.”
β€” Isaiah 40:30–31 (KJV)

Waiting can be frustrating when you have prayed, prepared and expected something to happen, yet nothing seems to move. But waiting on God is not the same as wasting time.

Sometimes, the greatest progress is happening beneath the surface.

A seed beneath the soil may appear inactive, but something is happening. In the same way, God may be using your waiting season to develop your wisdom, character, faith and capacity for what is ahead.

So don’t waste your waiting.

Keep preparing. Keep praying. Keep learning. Keep doing what God has already placed in your hands.

There is a difference between delay and preparation. Sometimes God is not saying β€œNo.” He may simply be saying, β€œNot yet.” And β€œnot yet” can become preparation for β€œnow”.

Not every wound is visible.

Some people smile while carrying deep hurts within. Pain from rejection, betrayal, disappointment, failure or loss can quietly affect the way we think, trust and relate to others.

God never intended us to hide our wounds. He invites us to bring them to Him because He is the Great Physicianβ€”not only of the body but also of the heart.

David understood what it meant to experience pain, yet he discovered that God was close to the broken-hearted and able to restore what seemed beyond repair.

Healing is not a sign of weakness.

It is evidence of God’s restoring power.

Many people want God to change their circumstances while ignoring the condition of their hearts.

But lasting progress begins with inner healing.

Instead of covering your pain, surrender it.

Instead of pretending everything is fine, invite God into the places that still hurt.

A healed heart sees life differently, loves more freely, forgives more quickly and trusts God more deeply.

Don’t rush ahead carrying yesterday’s wounds.

Allow God to heal you first.
