This verse gives a clear pattern for divine direction.

First, it says: β€œIn all thy ways acknowledge him…”
This means recognising God in every area of life, not just spiritual activities. Decisions, plans, conversationsβ€”everything is included.

To β€œacknowledge” God is more than mentioning Him. It means:

  • Seeking His guidance
  • Valuing His input
  • Being willing to follow His direction

Then comes the promise:
β€œβ€¦and he shall direct thy paths.”

Notice the order.
Direction follows acknowledgement.

Many times, people want clear direction but skip the process of involving God. Scripture teaches that guidance is not randomβ€”it flows from relationship and dependence.
