Carriers of Glory

📖 DP FIRESTREAMS – MORNING DEVOTIONAL (September 2)
With Pastor Adewole Adenubi

🔥 Theme: Carriers of Glory

📜 Scripture Focus:
“For the earth shall be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the LORD, as the waters cover the sea.” – Habakkuk 2:14

🔍 Deep Revelation for Today
The glory of God is not a distant experience for heaven only; it is a tangible atmosphere meant to be carried and manifested on earth through God’s people. To carry His glory means to radiate His presence, demonstrate His power, and reveal His nature in every sphere of life.

This glory is not a decoration; it is a mantle that empowers a believer to stand out in a dark world. When you carry glory, battles bow, doors open, and destinies align with divine order. Glory is the heavenly signature upon a man that separates him from ordinary existence.

Every carrier of glory must walk in consecration, for glory thrives in purity. Sin stains the garment of glory, but righteousness intensifies its brightness. That is why Jesus prayed, “The glory which thou gavest me I have given them” (John 17:22). Beloved, glory is your inheritance!

Today, rise with the consciousness that you are a divine agent mandated to manifest God’s glory in your family, workplace, ministry, and generation.

📜 Biblical Illustrations

  • Moses: When Moses descended from Mount Sinai, his face shone with the glory of God (Exodus 34:29). He was transformed into a carrier of glory that Israel could not ignore.
  • Stephen: Even in persecution, Stephen’s face appeared like that of an angel, radiating glory (Acts 6:15). Glory announces itself even in the face of adversity.

💡 Key Points to Note
• Glory is not for personal decoration; it is for divine demonstration.
• To carry glory is to walk in unusual authority and favor.
• Glory must be protected by holiness and maintained by intimacy with God.

⚔️ Nuggets for the Day
“Glory is the garment of divine identity.”
“Those who carry glory cannot die in shame.”

📖 Daily Bible Reading
Morning: Isaiah 60

Did You Know?
The human body naturally emits a very faint visible light, a glow linked to metabolism, but invisible to the naked eye. Science calls it “biophotons.” This confirms spiritually that man was created to shine with God’s glory.

📅 Today in History
On September 2, 1192, the Treaty of Jaffa was signed between Richard the Lionheart and Saladin, allowing Christian pilgrims safe access to Jerusalem. A reminder that divine glory always makes way for covenant preservation.

🙏 Prayer for Today
Lord, clothe me afresh with Your glory. Let my life radiate Your power, favor, and presence everywhere I go, in Jesus’ name.

🔥 Prophetic Declaration
I declare: The glory of God shall distinguish me this month. I shine, I excel, and I manifest divine glory everywhere, in the name of Jesus!
