📖 Today’s Scripture: 2 Timothy 4:7–8 (KJV)
“I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith:
Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day…”
🌅 MORNING ENCOUNTER
Finish What God Started
Starting well is important. Finishing well is even more important.
Many people begin with excitement but lose momentum when challenges arise. The Christian life is not a sprint; it is a marathon requiring endurance, perseverance and unwavering faith.
The Apostle Paul faced persecution, imprisonment, hardship and opposition. Yet, at the end of his life, he could confidently say, “I have finished my course.”
His success was not measured by comfort or popularity but by faithfulness to God’s calling.
God is looking for faithful finishers.
You may feel tired. You may feel discouraged. You may even wonder whether your efforts are making a difference. Keep going.
Every prayer matters. Every act of obedience matters. Every seed you sow in faith matters. God never forgets the labour of those who remain faithful.
The race is not won by those who start quickly but by those who refuse to quit. Let this be your season of renewed commitment to God.
If you have been tempted to give up, remember that God is strengthening you for the journey. Your present weariness does not mean your assignment is over.
Keep praying. Keep obeying. Keep believing. Keep moving.
There is a reward attached to faithfulness and perseverance.

Father, strengthen me to finish the race You have set before me. When I become weary, renew my strength. When I face challenges, increase my faith. Help me to remain steadfast, faithful and committed until I have completed Your purpose for my life. Give me grace to finish what You have entrusted to me. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

I will complete the assignment He has given me.

Complete one important task you have been postponing. Honour God by finishing what you started.
Do not merely plan to finish what you started—take the step today.

Ask yourself honestly whether you continued in faithfulness despite today’s challenges.

Father, thank You for sustaining me today. As I rest tonight, renew my strength and prepare me to continue running the race with endurance. Help me to finish every assignment You have entrusted to me with faithfulness and joy. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
