π DP FIRESTREAMS β MORNING DEVOTIONAL (September 15)
With Pastor Adewole Adenubi
π₯ Theme: Faith That Moves Mountains
π Scripture Focus:
βAnd Jesus answering saith unto them, Have faith in God. For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith.β β Mark 11:22β23 (KJV)
π Deep Revelation for Today
Faith is not passive believing β it is active speaking, daring, and acting in alignment with Godβs Word. Jesus never said the mountain would politely shift; He said it must be cast into the sea. Faith is forceful, creative, and mountain-moving.
Every stubborn challenge in your life is a mountain, but mountains donβt move by human strength β they bow to divine authority released through faith. When you open your mouth and declare Godβs Word in boldness, your voice becomes a spiritual bulldozer, shattering impossibilities.
The devil knows he cannot withstand a believer whose faith is alive. That is why he attacks your confidence, your confession, and your consistency. Refuse to be silent; keep your faith blazing and your mountains will have no choice but to crumble.
π Biblical Illustrations
- David vs. Goliath β Goliath was a mountain of intimidation, but Davidβs faith-filled declaration, βThis day will the Lord deliver thee into mine handβ (1 Samuel 17:46), toppled the giant.
- Abraham β When told he would father nations at 100, he staggered not at the promise but was strong in faith, giving glory to God (Romans 4:20). His faith opened the womb of impossibility.
π‘ Key Points to Note
β’ Faith is the voice that commands mountains to move.
β’ Faith dies in silence; it lives when you speak.
β’ Faith is not optimism; it is anchored in the unshakable Word of God.
βοΈ Nuggets for the Day
“Faith sees the invisible and commands the impossible.”
“Mountains bow to unshaken voices of faith.”
π Daily Bible Reading

β Did You Know?
The mustard seed Jesus spoke about in Matthew 17:20 is only about 1β2 millimeters in diameter, yet grows into a tree over 20 feet tall. Faith, no matter how small, is designed by God to grow and dominate!
π
Today in History
On September 15, 1935, German pastor Martin NiemΓΆller publicly opposed Hitlerβs Nazi policies in defense of Christian truth β showing that faith still moves mountains of oppression.
