🌅 RESTORATION OF CONFIDENCE – FIRESTREAMS DAILY DEVOTIONAL (DAY 17)

TODAY’S SCRIPTURE

Proverbs 3:5 (KJV)

“Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.”

MORNING ENCOUNTER

Failure can affect more than your circumstances. It can affect the way you see yourself.

One disappointment can make you question your ability. One rejection can make you afraid to try again. One mistake can convince you that you are no longer capable.

But your confidence does not have to rest entirely on your past performance.

God can rebuild your confidence by teaching you to depend on Him rather than constantly measuring yourself by yesterday’s failures.

Perhaps you need to learn again, practise again, apologise, prepare better or start smaller. That is not defeat. It is growth.

Do not allow one failed attempt to become a permanent identity.

Get up. Learn. Pray. Try again.

Your confidence does not mean pretending that you have never failed. It means trusting God enough to learn from your experiences and take the next step with courage.

Peter denied Jesus, yet his failure did not end his usefulness in God’s hands. Through restoration and renewed commitment, he became a bold witness for Christ.

Today, stop allowing the memory of yesterday’s mistakes to silence the possibilities of tomorrow. Ask God for wisdom to correct what went wrong, grace to grow, and courage to begin again.

You may not feel completely confident yet, but you can still take one faithful step. As you trust the Lord, He can strengthen your heart and guide your decisions.

Failure may teach you, but it does not have to define you. God can restore your confidence and give you courage for the next step.

FIRESTREAMS INSIGHT

Failure may teach you, but it does not have to define you.
