π TODAYβS SCRIPTURE β ISAIAH 26:3 (KJV)
βThou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee.β
π MORNING ENCOUNTER
Peace can disappear quietly.
A difficult conversation, financial pressure, family concerns, uncertainty about tomorrow or prolonged waiting can fill your mind with questions. You may smile in public while privately wrestling with worries that seem impossible to silence.
But God’s peace is not dependent on everything around you being perfect.
Isaiah reminds us that God keeps in peace the person whose mind is stayed on Him. This means you have a choice about where you continually place your attention.
You cannot control every circumstance, but you can bring your concerns to God. You can pray instead of constantly worrying. You can meditate on His Word instead of rehearsing every possible problem.
Peace grows when trust becomes stronger than fear.
This does not mean pretending that your problems do not exist. It means refusing to let those problems become greater in your mind than the God you serve. It means seeking wisdom, taking responsible action and trusting Him with the things beyond your control.
Today, when your thoughts begin to race, pause and remember: God is still God, and your life is still in His hands.
Let your heart return to Him. You do not have to solve every problem before you can experience His presence. You do not have to know every detail of tomorrow before you can trust Him today.
God can restore peace to a mind that has been exhausted by uncertainty.

Peace begins to return when your mind stops carrying what you have already surrendered to God.

Father, restore peace to my heart and mind. Help me to trust You with every concern I cannot control. Let Your Word silence fear and establish my heart in confidence. Give me wisdom to handle my responsibilities and grace to leave tomorrow in Your hands. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

My mind is stayed on God. Fear will not rule me.
Anxiety will not control me.
I receive God’s peace today, in Jesus’ name. Amen!

Write down one worry that has been occupying your mind. Pray over it, then deliberately leave it in God’s hands.
Whenever that worry returns, remind yourself of Isaiah 26:3 and redirect your attention towards God’s faithfulness.

Father, quiet every troubled thought within me. Help me to rest in Your faithfulness tonight and trust You with tomorrow. Teach me to release the burdens I cannot carry and to receive the peace You freely give. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
