“Put on therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, bowels of mercies, kindness, humbleness of mind, meekness, longsuffering;
Forbearing one another, and forgiving one another, if any man have a quarrel against any: even as Christ forgave you, so also do ye.
And above all these things put on charity, which is the bond of perfectness.”
❤️ Building Relationships That Honour God
Life was never meant to be lived alone.
God places people in our lives to encourage, support and strengthen us. Yet healthy relationships do not happen automatically. They require love, kindness, humility, patience and forgiveness.
No relationship is perfect because no person is perfect. There will be misunderstandings, disappointments and moments when forgiveness is necessary. But love chooses restoration over resentment and grace over revenge.
Instead of asking only, “How should people treat me?”, we should also ask, “How does God want me to treat others?”
Speak kindly.
Listen carefully.
Forgive quickly.
Encourage generously.
Pray faithfully.
When we choose to become a blessing to others, we create an atmosphere where healthy relationships can flourish.
🌱 Become a Blessing
The quality of our relationships is influenced not only by the people around us but also by the person we choose to become.
A healthy relationship requires us to practise the character of Christ consistently. Love must be demonstrated. Forgiveness must be practised. Kindness must be intentional.
Ask yourself today: Am I becoming the kind of person who brings peace, encouragement and strength into the lives of others?
